Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach Didi Dramani has stressed that his side must be strong, disciplined, and clinical if they are to overcome FC Samartex 1996 in their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture.

The Phobians are gearing up for a tricky away trip as they look to secure a vital result in the closing stages of the 2025/26 season.

Speaking ahead of the match, Dramani described Samartex as a well-organised and physically aggressive side, warning his players that they must remain fully focused throughout the 90 minutes.

He highlighted the need for Hearts to dominate second balls, close down space quickly, and make smarter decisions in key moments of the game.

“They are very compact, they are very aggressive, and they are a good side, so we need to be strong in our second actions. We need to be decisive, and we need to be very quick in closing the gaps,” he told Hearts TV.

Dramani also stressed that his team must take their chances when they come, insisting that efficiency in front of goal could determine the outcome of the match.

While acknowledging Samartex’s strength, he maintained that Hearts of Oak remain focused on returning with a positive result.

“We acknowledge their strength, but we are going to try our best to come back with a very important result,” he added.

FC Samartex 1996 will host Accra Hearts of Oak SC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday, May 17, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm as both teams continue their push for a strong finish to the season.
