English-born Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo was featured in the unveiling of TRIONDA - the official match-ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside football great Lionel Messi.

It is not really confirmed whether there’s an official partnership but Semenyo has always been wearing boots and apparels from Adidas - who have been FIFA’s official partners for decades.

The TRIONDA - name of the official match-ball, means Three Waves, referencing three colored waves with the colors of the three host countries (red, green and blue) used in the design.

Football great Leo Messi led the group of players that starred in the unveiling alongside FC Barcelona young-sensation Lamine Yamal - who finished as the first runner-up in the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards.

Another player that took part in the launch is Ghana and AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo - who was seen in all adidas wear from head to toe, doing some freestyle toe-taps with the newly-unveiled TRIONDA.

The 25-year-old in this new season continued from where he left off and currently has six-goal involvements (4goals, 2assists) in six Premier League matches.

He has been included in coach Otto Addo’s squad for the final two matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros.
