English-born Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month award for September following an impressive run of form.
The 26-year-old scored two goals and provided two assists in three league appearances during the month, earning recognition among six players shortlisted for the supporters’ award.
Semenyo has been joined on the shortlist by Pascal Groß, Alexander Isak, Jérémy Jacquet, Charalampos Kostoulas and Kevin Schade. The winner will be decided by fans.
The nomination comes after Semenyo was also in contention for the main Premier League Player of the Month award for September. However, he missed out on that prize to Groß.
The versatile attacker’s strong club form came shortly before he was forced to miss Ghana’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia.
