Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo has opened up on playing in the English Premier League with AFC Bournemouth after a sealing a switch during the last winter transfer window.
Semenyo, who scored six goals and provided two assists in 23 appearances for Bristol City in the English Championship, joined Premier League campaigners AFC Bournemouth in January.
The 23-year-old is yet to hit grounds since his arrival at the Cherries and has admitted the challenges in the English top-flight league.
"It's not been easy. You are around top-quality players every single day. So have to learn. You have to be quick,” Semenyo told Ghanaweb
“You have to make sure your mind is switched on every time and in games, you play against the best in the world so you have to make sure you are switched on. If you're not switched on you get punished." He added.
Semenyo scored an important goal for Ghana last month in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola.
AFC Bournemouth currently occupies 18th position on the English Premier League, with just nine matches left to end the 2022/23 season and the Vitality Stadium outfit fighting for survival.
