Jordanian Pro League side Al Faisaly SC have signed John Antwi on a lucrative one-year contract, Kickgh.com understands.

Antwi, 30, has put pen to paper on a 12-month deal that could see him pocket a mouth-watering salary and bonuses - although his base salary has not been made public but Kickgh.com has been reliably informed that it will be significantly higher than what he was previously taking in Egypt.

The move brings to an end months of speculation over Antwi's future. It had appeared likely that he'd be heading back to North Africa after leaving Pyramids, a club he struggled to score a single goal in 16 league games after joining in 2019 from Misr El-Makasa.

Antwi established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Egyptian football history after spells with Ismaily, Al Ahly, Misr El-Makkasa, and Pyramids.

With 193 appearances and 77 goals in the Egyptian Premier League, Antwi sits top on the list of all-time foreign top goalscorers.
