Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo is set to make his UEFA Champions League debut when Manchester City take on Real Madrid in the first leg of their round of 16 clash at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu later this evening. 

The 25-year-old joined Manchester City during the last winter transfer window from AFC Bournemouth, and he has acclimatized so quickly in Pep’s team. 

Semenyo, has started brightly since arriving at the club, making an immediate impact with his energetic performances and proving he can deliver at the highest level.

Since joining City, the Ghana international has registered seven goals and two assists in 12 matches in all competitions and is looking forward to getting more subsequently. 

Across the entire campaign, Semenyo now boasts of 14 league goals and four assists, taking his total goal involvements to 18 this season.

The forward has been included in Manchester City’s travelling squad for the high-profile European encounter, which will mark his first appearance in the Champions League, having never had the opportunity to feature in during his spells at Bristol City and Bournemouth.
