Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku continued his impressive form by scoring in Leicester City’s 2-0 victory over Bristol City in the EFL Championship match-day 37 on Tuesday night.
The Foxes made a bright start to the game, taking the lead in the 13th minute through Benjamin Nelson before Issahaku doubled the advantage in the 28th minute to put the home side firmly in control.
Despite the Foxes’ struggles this season, the 21-year-old Ghanaian has been one of the club’s standout performers and his consistent displays have reportedly attracted interest from several top clubs.
Issahaku has now registered 16-goal involvements this campaign, having netted nine goals and provided seven assists in 35 appearances for the Foxes in all competitions.
His compatriot Jordan Ayew also featured in the match, playing 68 minutes before his position was taken by Zambian international Patson Daka.
Both Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew are expected to make Ghana’s squad for the upcoming March international window and for the 2026 FIFA World Cup subsequently.
