Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard has eulogised amazing Thomas Partey as he insists that the Ghanaian midfielder is important to their set-up.
Arsenal defeated Chelsea by a-lone goal in the London derby on Sunday.
Gabriel Jesus' 63rd minute strike was enough to hand Mikel Arteta's side the victory.
Ghana midfielder dynamo Thomas Partey was crucial in midfield for the Gunners again.
Martin Odegaard was full of praise for the 29-year-old former Atletico Madrid midfielder.
“Thomas Partey is an amazing player, the job he is doing, sometimes you don’t see it but it’s so important to us," he said on Super Sports.
“He gives me and some of the players a lot of freedom because he is always there to protect us and win balls. Also on the ball, he is also great to find the pass inbetween the lines. It’s always great to play with him," he added.
Arsenal are on top of the English Premier League with thirty-four points afte thirteen games.
