English Premier League heavyweights Arsenal have expressed interest in securing the signature of Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil this summer.
The 25-year-old has emerged on the transfer radar of the Emirates Stadium outfit following his exploits in the Belgian Jupilier Pro League with KRC Genk.
Paintsil had a tremendous campaign with Genk in the just ended season after notching up 18 goals and provided 14 assists in 39 game outings across all competitions.
His sterling performance which aided the Cegeka Arena outfit to finish second on the 2022/23 Belgian Jupilier Pro League table, has attracted him interest from several clubs in Europe for a possible switch this summer.
Kickgh.com understands that Arsenal scouts were impressed after monitoring the speedster in the last two games of KRC Genk — against Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp — in the Belgian Jupilier Pro League Championship play-off.
It is believed that Arsenal will be launching an official bid to KRC Genk for the signing of Joseph Paintsil for the 2023/24 season's campaign.
