The 21-year-old winger of Ghanaian heritage, who has already taken in two loan spells with lowly division clubs Swansea and Shrewsbury , is again itching for a loan stint elsewhere for the remainder of the current campaign in this winter window

London-born Ghanaian youngster Charles Sagoe Jr is eyeing a loan move to interested suitors in this second half of the season, with showdown talks expected to take place between his representatives and Arsenal over his future in the coming days as the January transfer window nears its closure.

The promising winger, currently stirring for the U21 side in the Premier League 2, has said his loan spells with Swansea City and Shrewsbury Town has been a ''learning curve'' for him as an upcoming youngster.

Following the successful loan stints with the English lower-tier duo, the Ghana-prospect wideman is now eager to link up with any interested suitor for the remainder of the 2025-26 football season.

Speaking in an interview, the talented youngster has told GOAL: ''I’m obviously going to speak to people to see what the best thing is for me,” he said. “I’ve had loan experiences out at Swansea and Shrewsbury and they're learning curves, really. It's a challenging environment going outside your comfort zone when you've been at Arsenal for such a long time in your career. Going somewhere else is always challenging to adapt to the playing style that the team might be playing. But once you hit the ground running and you start getting appearances under your name, you're just going to build confidence.

"It's a really good opportunity going out on loan to men's environments where every game matters. But [for now] I’m just going to keep my head down in training and keep working hard and applying myself."

Sagoe Jr has so far scored 5 goals and setting up another 5 for Arsenal U21 team across all competitions in this ongoing campaign.

On the international stage, he has talked about the possibility of switching international allegiance by representing Ghana at the international level in the not-too-distant future over his international football career.
