German-Ghanaian winger Jamie Leweling has been strongly been linked with a move to Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma from VfB Stuttgart in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old, who plays on the right wing and can use both feet, remains under contract with Stuttgart until 30 June 2029. Roma’s reported interest comes as Leweling’s market value stands at €40m, although there is no indication that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.
Leweling, who made one appearance at the 2026 World Cup, is opened to a move to Italy. He joined Stuttgart permanently from Union Berlin in July 2024 in a deal worth €6m after spending the previous season on loan at the Bundesliga club.
Leweling has made 142 Bundesliga appearances in his career, scoring 19 goals and providing 21 assists, while also featuring in European competition.
