Israeli Premier League outfit Hapoel Tel Aviv have reportedly expressed interest in securing the signature of Ghanaian winger Douglas Owusu from Red Star Belgrade in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Reds have shown a keen interest in signing the Ghanaian international to bolster their attacking options for their 2026/27 season's campaign.
Owusu joined Red Star from FK Radnik Surdulica earlier this year during the winter transfer window after the Serbian club agreed a €2.2 million fee for his transfer.
The winger has yet to make an appearance for Red Star this season, either in the Serbian Super Liga or Champions League qualifying. His current campaign has so far brought no goals or assists, with the club having played three league matches and two Champions League qualifiers in the competitions recorded.
Owusu arrived at Red Star during the second half of the 2025-26 season and was part of a squad that won both the Serbian championship and Serbian Cup. The titles followed his earlier success with Radnik, where he played instrumental role to help them win the Serbian Second League during the 2024-25 season.
He has a contract with Red Star Belgrade until the summer of 2028.
