Serie C side Ascoli Calcio have released Ghanaian defender Claud Adjapong ahead of the start of the new football season.
The 27-year-old right-back, who linked up with The Woodpecker on a three-year deal from Sassuolo in 2022, is now going his separate ways after failing to get a fresh term over extension this summer.
Given his vast experience in the ltalian football competitions so far in his career, the former Hellas Verona loanee will not be short of suitors in this current transfer market.
He featured in 108 league game appearances for Ascoli Calcio in the lower division campaigns before ending his stay with them ahead of the upcoming football season.
Having played for the ltaly U19, U20 & U21 national youth teams, Adjapong still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage.
