The man in charge of the touchline at the San Mamés Stadium believes he's gotten a slayer in front of goal in person of the Ghanaian striker  in the Spanish top-flight

Athletic Club boss Ernesto Valverde has said Ghana international forward Iñaki Williams remains a ''key player'' for them, with LaLiga club rivals told they ''fear'' him given his scoring abilities in the top division contest.

The 30-year-old forward returned to action with his team-mates after picking up an injury last week. However, his recuperation has been a refreshing news to his manager given the vacuum he created in his set-up during his absence from the team.

And now, prior to their encounter against Real Sociedad, the former Barcelona boss was left touting his frontman over his one-man show in times of troubling moment on the field of play against their opponents.

''We know that our rivals fear him,'' the gaffer is quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo. ''That's an important asset for us. He's all heart and he brings us a lot. We know that at any moment he can take a dangerous play out of our hands.''

He continued by commenting on his injury setback; ''It's like any other team losing a key player. Iñaki is a key player for us.''

lnaki has bagged 3 goals and provided 4 assists in 13 league game appearances in this current LaLiga 24/25 football campaign.

He has so far earned 17 caps for Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars with a goal to his name since switching nationality allegiance to represent the west African nation in 2022.
