MLS side Atlanta United have loaned out Ghanaian youngster, Jeffrey Otoo, to second-tier side Charleston Battery, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
The former Accra based side Charity Stars FC joined the Atlanta based club last week.
“Having him signed with us at this time enables him to play with the Charleston Battery and get familiar with US soccer ahead of our inaugural season in 2017.” Atlanta technical director Carlos Bocanegra confirmed the loan deal.
Otoo will remain with the 'Battery Boys' for the remainder of the 2016 USL season.
The 18-year-old forward netted 21 goals in his 13 appearances for Charity Stars FC in their last season campaign.
