Ghana and Tampa Bay Rowdies midfielder, Kalif Alhasssan, has been named in the North American Soccer League team of the week.
The former Portland Timbers midfield anchor was shortlisted with his teammate Georgi Hristov for their splendid performance in last week fixture.
The 26-year-old created two chances and earned an assist on Georgi Hristov’s opener in the 2-1 win over Ottawa Fury FC.
The former Liberty Professionals enforcer joined the Rowdies boys from Minnesota United last year.
Kalif is the son of former Ghana international and two-time Africa Cup of Nations winner George Alhassan.
