The newly-promoted second-tier side are on the verge of securing the signature of the 23-year-old midfielder of Ghanaian descent in this summer transfer market

Newly-Promoted Serie B club Avellino are set to sign ltalian-born Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Gyabuaa from Serie A outfit Atalanta, multiple reports from the ltalian media have stated.

The Atalanta youth product, currently with the U23 side, could sever ties with his boyhood club this summer as he nears a switch to the Biancoverdi ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Per Tuttomercatoweb, talks over the transfer move of the former Perugia and Pescara loanee have reached an advanced stage between both clubs, with the negotiations expected to be completed soon.

Gyabuaa, who has captained the Atalanta U23 team for two years in the Serie C contest, has so far failed to establish himself as a first team squad member since rising through the youth ranks.

He was involved in 44 appearances for the Bergamo-based Reserve team across all competitions in the recently concluded football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Parma-born midfielder remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the ltaly national youth teams.
