Black Stars defender Baba Abdul Rahman continues with explosive form having scored in their resounding 4-0 victory over Irish side Shamrock Rovers in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League playoff round.
The Black and Whites have been eager to secure European football spot having started from the UEFA Champions League qualifying round but painfully lost to Malmö FF in the final round to the money zone.
However, they have now dropped to the playoff round of the Europa and were explosive in the first leg having destroyed the Irish champions hoping to seal the tie in the reverse fixture.
It was a very tough encounter until Dan Cleary's own goal just on the stroke of half time put the hosts in front. Brazilian international Taison and Giannis Konstantelias subsequently scored in between twenty minutes to give their club a three-goal lead.
However, Baba Abdul Rahman completed the riots by scoring their fourth at the death to wrap up the victory.
The return encounter is slated for Thursday, August 29, at the Tallagt Stadium.
