Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman scored a late winner to hand PAOK FC an important away victory over Asteras Tripolis in the Greek Super League on Sunday evening.

Substitute Baba Rahman needed just ten minutes in the second half to announce his presence with a match-winner, ensuring POAK FC an away win.

PAOK FC kept their title-winning hopes alive with a 2-1 comeback win over Asteras Tripolis in their match-week 12 fixture at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium.

The first half of the game was balanced with the two teams showing their strength in the midfield, with few goal-glaring opportunities created as it ended in a dull draw.

Just five minutes after the break, Italian international Federico Macheda opened the scoring for the home side with a fine strike before Kiril Despodov cancelled it out for PAOK in the 68th minute.

 Baba Rahman the Game Changer

Baba Rahman, who had been introduced in the 75th minute as a replacement for Joan Sastre, brilliantly snatched all three maximum points for the Black and White lads with his effort in the 85th minute of the game.

He has scored six goals and provided an assist in 19 appearances for PAOK FC in all competitions this season so far.
