The midfielder is impressed with the presence of the senior national team boss at the Boras Arena after putting up a five-star performance in their last outings in the Swedish top-flight 

Ghana international Michael Baidoo says he is "happy" to see Black Stars coach Chris Houghton monitoring him in the stands during his side's 3-0 trouncing of AIK on Monday in the Swedish Allsvenskan contest.

The talented attacking midfielder put up an impressive display for lF Elfsborg after netting a brace in their home victory against their opponent for that clash as they maintain their top spot in the league standings so far this term.

Given this remarkable outing, the former Ghana U-20 star is now on course to stake a claim in the set-up of the 60-year-old gaffer as he readies himself to assemble a formidable side ahead of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast.

That notwithstanding, Baidoo says he and his Ghanaian compatriots are happy to realize the presence of the experienced tactician with his entourage at the Boras Arena.

"There are so many Ghanaians in the Allsvenskan, so it's fun that they come here and want to see us. I am so happy, " the talented attacking midfielder is quoted by Newspaper Borås Tidning. 

Baidoo together with his Ghanaian compatriots Wolji Jalal Abdulai and Emmanuel Okyere Boateng will hope to annex the 2023 Allsvenskan season with IF Elfsborg as they currently occupy the top spot  in the league standings.
