Black Stars midfield anchor, Salis Abdul Samed once again starred for French Ligue 1 side RC Lens who are still unbeaten after three matches in the UEFA Champions League.
After a win over Premier League giants Arsenal and a draw at Sevilla, the Gold and Bloods got held by PSV Eindhoven to a one-all draw in an exciting match-day three fixture at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Tuesday evening.
Johan Bakayoko opened the scoring account for the visitors on the 54th minute before Elye Wahi subsequently scored to level things up for the hosts- a goal that split the points after full time.
After not making the line up last Friday at Le Havre, Salis had the opportunity to make the starting line up this time just as he's done in all games they have honoured so far in the UCL- and went on to enjoy full throttle.
Reacting to the win, he wrote on X; "Keeping a positive mindset. Thank you for the unparalleled atmosphere."
RC Lens after three games are currently sitting on the second position with five points, just one behind leaders Arsenal in Group B and are most likely to sail through should they serge on with the same momentum.
Salis Abdul Samed has played 12 matches in all competitions so far this season; nine in the Ligue 1 and three in the UEFA Champions League.
