The English-born Ghanaian striker led the Baggies as they beat Albert Adomah's Queens Park Rangers 2-0 at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night.
Brandon Thomas-Asante scored a vivid penalty in the 59th minute to give West Brom a two goal cushion in the English Championship.
It seems the 24-year-old - who's known for scoring showy goals - has worn back his scoring boots after being unable to score for almost two months.
Asante converted as he buried his spot kick to put the Baggies ahead after silky attacking midfield threat Grady Diangana was fouled in the penalty box.
Sierra Leonean born Nathaniel Nyakie Chalobah handed a dagger-like pass to Diangana to tap home West Brom's second goal to wrap up the three points.
Asante has now scored four goals and provided one assist after twelve games in all competitions this season.
Compatriot Albert Adomah was an unused substitute for QPR as he sat on the bench to watch the match.
