The Catalan giants management have reportedly begun negotiations with the Belgian elite club over the potential signing of the promising budding star of Ghanaian descent in the summer

Barcelona have opened talks with Pro League club Club Brugge for the possible recruitment of Belgian-born Ghanaian teenager Jesse Bisiwu in the next transfer window, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.

The 18-year-old, currently with Club Brugge U19, has emerged as a hot commodity among Europe's top guns, with La Liga rivals Atlético Madrid and German Bundesliga suitors - all believed to be gunning for his signature for the 2026-27 football season.

After months of effective monitoring of the Ghana-prospect rising star, those in charge of recruitment at the Spotify Camp Nou now sees the highly-rated budding star as a viable option for their youth set-up and have begun negotiations with his parent club for his possible capture in the summer.

With his running contract set to expire on June 30, 2027, those vying for his services must fork out a fee of €800,000 if they are to land him as per his transfermarkt valuation.

Bisiwu has so far taken in 23 appearances by scoring 3 goals and assisting 1 for the Club NXT side across all competitions in this current 2025-26 campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the talented budding starlet remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage despite featuring for the Belgium national youth teams.
