The Catalonia superpower outfit have reportedly set sights on the former Atlético de Madrid enforcer in an effort to land him in the summer transfer window

Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona have reignited their interest in securing the services of Ghanaian midfield enforcer Thomas Partey, a report has indicated.

With the 31-year-old contract with English Premier League outfit Arsenal set to come to a close in June this year, those in charge of the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys are keen to land him on a free transfer as he is yet to pen a fresh term with the North London club.

Report by CaughtOffside has indicated that Barca have penciled down Partey as a possible replacement for Dutch star De Jong if he finally part ways with them in the summer, with Liverpool considering making a concrete bid for his services in augmenting their midfield department at Anfield.

The report further stated that Arsenal are unlikely to let both Partey and Jorginho leave simultaneously in the summer as they are determined to keep the Ghanaian enforcer beyond 2025.

The ex-UD Almería loanee has so far figured in 37 games across all competitions for Arsenal in this current campaign.

He currently boasts of 49 caps with Ghana Senior Men's National Team with 13 goals to his name on the international stage.
