The German heavyweights are reportedly closing in on landing the services of the talented teenage sensation of Ghanaian descent from the English heavyweights this summer

Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen are set to sign German-born Ghanaian teen Farid Alfa-Ruprecht from Premier League giants Manchester City, a report has stated.

The 19-year-old budding winger, currently on the books of Man City U21 team, is all set to link up with the BayArena campaigners after agreeing deal for his signature with his mother club in this current transfer market.

Per Italian Journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the former Bundesliga Champions have agreed a transfer fee of £5m for the promising teenage sensation and would be tying him down to a long-term contract if the deal is finalised in the coming days.

The report also added that Man City will have a 40% sell-on clause in their contract with the German outfit over the sale of the ex-Hamburger SV youth man this summer.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the promising wonderkid still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage after featuring for the Germany U16, U17 & U18 national youth teams.
