German Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich, has announced that they will not be signing former player Jerome Boateng. The decision was made on Friday, October 6.

Jerome Boateng, aged 35, had recently been linked with a return to Bayern Munich as a free agent after being seen training with the club to maintain his fitness while seeking a new team.

Bayern Munich's manager, Thomas Tuchel, commented on the potential deal, stating, "He behaved well and trained. We have tested it, and we will clarify this with everyone involved this afternoon and then announce it. Contrary to reports to the contrary, no decision has been made yet. We're just sorting that out internally now."

As of today, Bayern Munich has informed Jerome Boateng that they will not be signing him. The experienced defender remains a free agent and will aim to secure a deal during the January transfer window.
