Ghanaian international, Augustine Boakye, has inked a fresh contract with Austrian club Wolfsberger AC, extending his stay by an additional two years.

Wolfsberger AC made the announcement on Friday, October 6, confirming the contract extension for the 22-year-old forward, originally set to run until 2025 but now extended until 2027.

Augustine Boakye arrived at Wolfsberger AC from the West African Football Academy (WAFA SC) in the summer of 2021. In his time with the club, he has appeared in 34 matches and initially faced some injury challenges in his first 1.5 years.

However, he gained momentum under the management of Manfred Schmid in the past spring, contributing with two goals and two assists during the qualifying group matches.

Boakye has continued to excel and has become one of the top performers for Wolfsberger AC this season, with two goals and three assists to his name.

This contract extension demonstrates the club's faith in the talented Ghanaian midfielder, who has evolved into a key player for his team since joining them in 2021 from WAFA SC.
