The Die Bayern are reportedly keeping a close tab on the former RB Leipzig frontman as they consider making a move for his signature in the upcoming transfer window

Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich are eyeing Dutch-Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey from Premier League outfit Sunderland, a report from the British media has claimed.

The 24-year-old centre-forward, who joined up with the Stadium of Light campaigners from Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax in the summer of 2025, has so far impressed in his debut season in the English top-flight this term.

According to British tabloid The Independent, those managing the administrative affairs at the Allianz Arena have identified the bulky striker as an ideal back up for English prolific forward Harry Kane and are exploring the option of poaching him in order to reinforce their forward line options with his acquisition in the summer.

Brobbey's exploits this season have gone unnoticed, with other suitors across Europe's elite division clubs also shooting admiring glances at him in an effort to land him in the next transfer window.

With his high-flying start to life in the English top-flight, it remains to be seen if Sunderland would entertain any offers from interested suitors for their prized asset given his running contract which is set to expire on June 30, 2029.

He has so far featured in 27 appearances by scoring 7 goals and setting up another 1 for the Black Cats across all competitions in this ongoing football campaign.

Brobbey remains unfit to play for the Ghana national football team on the international stage after playing for the Netherlands national football team, with 10 caps to his name.
