The promising teenage sensation of Ghanaian descent is facing the reality checks over his training sessions at the Den Dreef Stadium after being drafted into the mainstream squad in 2025

Belgian-born Ghanaian teenager Davis Opoku has admitted the rigorous training drills at Belgian Pro League side OH Leuven, with first-team promotion being secured in this current campaign.

The 18-year-old wonderkid, who passed through the academy ranks of OHL, has so far impressed in the Belgian top-flight contest as an upcoming youth star.

Commenting on the physical demands that come with training with the senior team so far, the talented defender has stated as quoted by nieuwsblad: ''Heavy training? Yes, yes..'' He added on his quest to break into the starting line-up of manager Felice Mazzù this term: ''That means giving it your all in every training session.''

The Belgian-born rising star has so far featured in 15 games across all competitions for OH Leuven in this current campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains fit to switch international allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage after playing for the Belgian U18 & U19 national youth teams.
