German-born Ghanaian striker Ilyas Ansah is being courted by Turkish Super Lig side Beşiktaş and are prepared to table an audacious bid for his services, according to multiple reports from the Turkish media.
The ex-VfL Bochum youth star, who joined up with Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin from SC Paderborn in the summer of 2025, is already attracting serious attention from interested suitors given his remarkable outings so far this season.
Per a report, the lstanbul-based club are keen on signing the Ghana-target centre-forward in a deal worth €12 million as manager Sergen Yalçın wants to partner him with South Korean striker Hyeon-gyu Oh upfront for the 2026-27 football season.
lt remains to be seen if Die Eisernen would be severing ties with their prized jewel should the aforementioned fee be tabled by the Turkish outfit in the upcoming transfer market.
Ansah has so far taken in 29 appearances by scoring 5 goals and setting up another 3 for Union Berlin across all contests in this ongoing campaign.
With regards to his pursuit by the Ghana national football team ahead of the 2026 World Cup, the 21-year-old has said to German tabloid Bild-Zeitung over his future at the international team level: ''l ve decided to soak up everything I'm currently experiencing at Union and continue playing for the German U21 team. After the U21 European Championship, I'll look into it next year and make a decision. As things stand, I won't be going to the World Cup with Ghana."
