West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has stated that his side will not make more singings to replace the Ghanaian winger.
The deputy skipper of the Black Stars of Ghana, Andre Ayew, picked up a thigh injury on his debut against Chelsea.
The 26-year-old enforcer joined the London based club from Swansea City on a club record fee of £20.5 million this summer.
The Hammers have made no secret of their desire to significantly bolster their front line this summer and have been forced into the market again following injuries to Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew.
The Ghana international is expected to return from the treatment room before December.
"With strikers, we are short now because of injuries but those players will come back - some of them very soon" he told reporters
"Andre Ayew is due back at the end of November, so there is no point in adding too many players in that position".
