Black Queens defender Comfort Yeboah marked her Liga F debut for DUX Logroño with an impressive display in a hard-fought 0–0 away draw against Athletic Bilbao Femenino, also known as Athletic Club on the Matchday 9 encounter on Sunday, November 2.

The Ghanaian right-back, who joined the Spanish side earlier this year, exhibited her discipline, and defensive intelligence throughout the match.

Yeboah slotted effortlessly into the Logroño backline, making a number of key interventions to help her side secure a clean sheet against a technically sharp Athletic Club attack.

While both teams had their moments in front of goal, neither could break the deadlock, leaving the points shared at full time.

Yeboah’s confident debut will come as a massive boost for both DUX Logroño and the Black Queens, as the 18-year-old continues to gain valuable top-tier experience in Spain.

With that assured debut under her belt, the Ghanaian defender will be looking to cement her spot in the starting lineup as DUX Logroño seek to turn their season around as they are currently sitting 15th in the 16-team Liga F table with five points.
