Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin Suleiman is in the running for the La Liga Goal of the Month award for September, thanks to his stunning strike for Rayo Vallecano against Osasuna.
Mumin's impressive goal contributed to Rayo's 3-1 victory earlier this month, earning him the Man of the Match accolade as well. His powerful finish has drawn acclaim, making him a standout in the match.
The Black Stars centre-back will compete against Raul Garcia of Osasuna and Sandro Ramirez of UD Las Palmas for the prestigious award.
This nomination marks Mumin as the second Ghanaian player recognized in La Liga this September, joining Inaki Williams, who is nominated for the Player of the Month award.
Since joining Rayo Vallecano from Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes last summer, Mumin has established himself as a key player for the team and has regularly featured for the Black Stars.
