Ghana international Joseph Aidoo was on target for Celta Vigo in their important away victory over Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday night.
Celta Vigo travelled to the Estadio Benito Villamarin to secure their sixth win of the season after inflicting a 4-3 home defeat on Betis in the La Liga match-week 20 fixture.
Striker Jorgen Strand Larsen opened the score for the visitors on the 7th minute as two goals from Juanmi and Sergio Canales aided Betis to have a 2-1 lead before the half-hour mark.
A 42nd minute goal from two-goal hero Gabriel Veiga ended the first half in a two-all draw. He gave Celta Vigo the lead once again with his strike on the 56th minute.
Aidoo registered his second goal of the 2022/23 Spanish La Liga season for Celta Vigo with a brilliant header on the 69th minute of the game.
Nabil Fekir's penalty on the 84th minute wasn't enough to secure a point for Real Betis as it ended 3-4 for Celta Vigo at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
The Black Stars centre-back enjoyed the full duration of the match with a scintillating performance.
Aidoo has made 20 La Liga appearances for Celta Vigo with two goals to his credit, this season so far.
