Ghana defender Kojo Oppong Peprah has returned to action after a minor injury picked up during a recent international friendly against Germany.

The centre-back, who plays for French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, was forced off during the match after taking a knock, which raised concerns among fans and the technical team.

However, medical checks later confirmed the injury was not serious, allowing him to resume training and make a quick return to the pitch.

The game itself ended in disappointment for the Black Stars, who lost 2-1 after conceding a late goal in the dying embers.

Despite the defeat, the match provided useful lessons as Ghana continue preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Oppong Peprah’s return is seen as a timely boost for the team, especially in defence, as the Black Stars try to become more solid before the tournament.

His recovery is also expected to lift confidence within the camp as the Black Stars build towards the global showpiece.
