Black Stars key-cog Mohammed Kudus is set to undergo surgery after suffering a fresh hamstring injury setback, raising serious concerns over his availability for the highly-anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The mercurial midfielder has been sidelined since January with a combination of quad and hamstring problems and was nearing a return after resuming individual training earlier this week.
However, fresh reports from the Tottenham Hotspur medical team has confirmed the player has suffered a setback in his recovery, with the injury now reportedly requiring a new surgery.
The 25-year-old is not expected to play again this season for the LilyWhites, raising so many concerns over his fitness heading into the 2026 World Cup.
With just weeks to the tournament, Ghana could be without one of their key players, leaving a major void as they prepare for a challenging campaign.
