Hibernian FC has secured the services of Ghanaian goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott on a three-year contract, with an undisclosed fee paid to Charlton Athletic.

The 26-year-old shot-stopper is a Ghana international, boasting 11 caps for his country.

Wollacott reunites with Hibernian manager Lee Johnson, having previously worked together during their time at Bristol City.

Wollacott, who unfortunately missed the previous World Cup due to a finger injury sustained in the warm-up before the tournament, will provide healthy competition for captain David Marshall in the goalkeeping position.

During his seven years at Bristol City, Wollacott had multiple loan spells before joining Swindon Town for the 2021-22 season. He subsequently made the move to League One with Charlton Athletic last summer, featuring in 20 games.

In addition to Wollacott, Hibernian has also recently announced the signings of left-back Jordan Obita and veteran forward Adam Le Fondre, bolstering their squad for the upcoming season.
