Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe is attracting offers from top clubs in Europe, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.
Yegbe joined Finnish giants SJK on loan from Ghanaian side Vision FC March 2022 and after some startling performances for the club, SJK have since exercised the option to own him permanently by signing him on a 4 and half year deal.
Information available to kickgh.com indicates SKJ have received a substantial offer of not less than €350,000 for Yegbe who is being pursued by top clubs in the Nordics, Belgium and France.
The offer if received by SJK would not only make Yegbe one of the most expensive foreign centre-backs to have played in Veikkausliiga but also the most expensive centre-back in the history of SJK.
SJK has played 11 matches in the early season without a single loss.
With eight victories, the team sits in second place in the league, trailing Kuopion Palloseura by just a point, although they have played two more games.
Yegbe has been one of the key figures behind SJK's strong start to the season.
He has started all 11 Veikkausliiga matches, keeping eight clean sheets and providing two assists.
Yegbe's recent performances have earned him recognition, including a spot in the Veikkausliiga's May Dream Team and a call-up to the Ghana U23 national team.
He is currently with the team, preparing for the African U23 Championship in Morocco in their quest to qualify for next year’s Olympics.
