Richard Ofori, the goalkeeper for the Black Stars, has reached an agreement to extend his contract with Orlando Pirates.

Despite previously rejecting four contract renewal offers from the club due to their failure to meet his expectations, the 29-year-old has now agreed to a new deal after a productive meeting with the club's top officials on June 6.

Sources indicate that Ofori will soon sign a fresh three-year contract, ensuring his future with the club. The new deal also includes an improved salary package for the talented goalkeeper.

Since joining Orlando Pirates from Maritzburg in 2020, Ofori has become their first-choice goalkeeper.

However, he has faced setbacks this season due to injuries, resulting in only 10 appearances for the club. Nonetheless, he has made a significant impact by keeping five clean sheets and conceding just six goals.
