The German elite league campaigners are on the verge of snatching the talented teenage sensation of Ghanaian descent from the Dutch top-flight side
Bundesliga side Mainz O5 are set to swoop for Dutch-born Ghanaian teenager Jesaja Riga Mustapha from Eridivisie side Vitesse Arnhem, according to multiple reports from the Dutch media.
The 16-year-old promising centre-forward, who is currently with the U-16 youth side will have his current deal with the Arnhem-based club expired this summer.
According to the Telegraaf, the German top-flight outfit are now in pole of snatching away the youth prospect from his boyhood club, with a three-year contract set to be tabled for his services.
The report added that Villearreal and Feyenoord are also keeping tabs on the talented teenager in their bid to lure him from his current side.
Should Vitesse Arnhem lose their youth prospect to Mainz O5, the German side will pay just an amount of €200,000 for his development to his Dutch employers.
Jesaga is a son to retired Ghanaian footballer Rahamat Riga Mustapha, who has had stints with Bolton Wanderers, Levante and Sparta Rotterdam during his active playing days.
The Arnhem-born teenager is still eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the Netherlands U-15 & U-16 national youth teams.
