RC Lens midfielder, Abdul Salis Samed, has donated food items and an undisclosed amount of money to Muslims in the La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality, to mark the holy Ramadan month.
The items, which include cartons of hot chocolate, bags of sugar, cartons of milk, cartons of tea bags and assorted cartons of soft drinks, were presented to the various muslim households in the municipality under his "The Styler’s Foundation".
Presenting the items, Samed said the gesture was to support the less privileged in his community as they embark on the month of fasting and prayer.
“This donation is really dear to me as a form giving back to my roots I grew before stardom found me. So this is to show appreciation to my Madina people for their unflinching support all these years,” he said.
Samed expressed his profound gratitude to Tag Transport Limited owned by Mr. Tony Bonsu, Cooker, Sumaila Mohammed for supporting the initiative.
