The French Ligue 1 side have secured the signature of the workaholic midfielder until the summer of 2025 in the ongoing transfer window.

Ghana international Elisha Owusu has completed a move to AJ Auxurre from Belgian Jupilier League outfit KAA Gent for an undisclosed fee.

 
The 25-year-old penned a two-and-half year contract with the Stade Abbe Deschamps outfit after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today.
 
The club's official statement reads “AJA is pleased to announce the signing of Elisha Owusu for two and a half years.”
 
 Owusu, who will be wearing jersey no.42 at his new club, becomes the second Black Stars player at AJ Auxurre after Gideon Mensah.
 
He spent three seasons at KAA Gent in Belgium where he made 126 appearances in all competitions.
 
Owusu, a product of Olympique Lyon, was a member of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
 
He has capped thrice for the senior national team of Ghana
