The forward, who joined the Swedish top-flight returnees in this window, has been left impressed with his first week training sessions ahead of the upcoming season

Ghanaian forward Naeem Mohammed has said ''It's been pretty good and fantastic'' at his first week training sessions with Allsvenskan side Halmstads BK as he is set to begin life at the Örjans Vall Stadium in the upcoming 2023 Swedish top-flight campaign.

The 26-year-old centre-forward has expressed his satisfaction over his first meeting with his playing mates at their training facilities after receiving an overwhelming reception from them as a first timer in their midst.

''It's been a fantastic first week with my new teammates with the reception, the support and how they are. I also know that it will get even better over time,'' the former Tamale Utrecht Football Academy ( TUFA) product told Halmstadsport . He added: "It's been pretty good in the first week. You see the qualities of the players and good support from the coaches as well. I already like it!;''

Naeem joined the Allsvenskan returnees on a free transfer deal in this winter transfer window after exhausting his contract with lower-tier side Sandvikens IF last term.

He is yet to be capped by Ghana at the Men's senior national team, the Black Stars.
