Ghanaian international Elisha Owusu sealed a sensational switch from KAA Gent to French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxurre and has already started life with his new club.
He's penned a two-and-half year contract with the Stade Abbe Deschamps outfit after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today.
Owusu, who will be wearing jersey no.42 at his new club, becomes the second Black Stars player at AJ Auxurre at the moment after Gideon Mensah.
He spent three seasons at KAA Gent in Belgium where he made 126 appearances in all competitions.
Owusu, a product of Olympique Lyon and was a member of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He's already starting training woth his new club as he hopes to make the squad for their Coupe de France game against Niort this Sunday, January 22, 2022.
