Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed expressed his joy as RC Lens secured their first victory of the season.
Lens had endured a challenging start to the season, going eight games without a win. However, they finally clinched a 2-1 victory against Toulouse on Sunday during matchday six of the 2023/24 French Ligue 1 season.
Wesley Said and Morgan Guilavogui scored for Lens in each half to secure the win at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, with Cesar Gelabert netting a consolation goal for the visitors.
After the game, Salis Abdul Samed, who played a pivotal role in his team's victory, took to social media to commend his team's performance in achieving their first win of the season.

Toulouse had taken the lead through Cesar Gelabert in the 33rd minute, but Lens quickly responded as Wesley Said leveled the score two minutes into first-half stoppage time. Morgan Guilavogui then struck the winning goal for the hosts with just five minutes left in the game.
