Union Saint-Gilloise attacker Mohammed Fuseini opened his goal-scoring account for the Black Stars in a big win over Trinidad and Tobago in the third-place game of the 2025 Unity Cup in London.

The 23-year-old, who received his debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana by Otto Addo ahead of the Unity Cup, was handed a starting berth in this afternoon's game against the Caribbean nation at the Gtech Community Stadium.

He made a late cameo appearance in the Black Stars' defeat to Nigeria in the semi-final fixture on Thursday evening.

Fuseini was a delight to watch in this afternoon's game against Trinidad and Tobago and climaxed it with a superb goal in the 41st minute after Jordan Ayew and Razak Simpson had found the back of the net to give the Black Stars a two-goal lead before the half-hour mark.

Belgium-based midfielder Lawrence Agyekum sealed the victory with the fourth goal in the 56th minute, helping Ghana to clinch the Unity Cup third-place spot.

Fuseini managed to score 11 goals and provided three assists in 44 appearances for Union Saint-Gilloise in his debut season. He played an instrumental role in their Belgian Pro League triumph after 90 years.
