Austria-born Ghanaian defender Samson Baidoo has reportedly attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old centre-back joined RC Lens last summer and has quickly become a key figure, making 20 appearances with two goals and two assists this season.
Dortmund are said to view Baidoo as a potential long-term option amid injury concerns surrounding Emre Can and uncertainty over Niklas Süle’s future. However, competition is intensifying, with European heavyweights including AC Milan, Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Crystal Palace FC, and West Ham United also monitoring the defender.
Lens are reportedly reluctant to sell and would only consider offers in the region of €45 million. With Baidoo under contract until 2030, any club hoping to secure his signature will need to meet a significant valuation.
