The Norwegian top division outfit are reportedly an inch away from landing the 21-year-old forward after agreeing a deal with the Swedish elite side for his transfer switch ahead of the start of the new campaign
Eliteserien side Molde FK are set to capture Ghanaian striker Jalal Abdulai from Allsvanskan side lF Elfsborg, a fresh report from the Swedish media has indicated.
After spending the entire 2025-26 campaign on loan at the Aker Stadion in the Norwegian top-flight, the Molde-based club are now set to secure his signature on a permanent basis after having their bid accepted for his deal by his parent club.
According to Swedish Sports tabloid SPORTBLADET, Molde FK have had their bid of €3.7 million in excess accepted for the lnter Allies graduate and would soon be in their fold in the coming days, with a little details over the transfer deal remaining to be ironed out between both parties.
lt's understood that the 21-year-old wing-forward is open to linking up with the Norwegian outfit following his successful loan spell at the Aker Stadion last term.
Aside Molde FK, a host of clubs across Europe including Swansea City, Queens Park Rangers, KRC Genk, RSC Anderlecht, FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen are all currently in the running for his signature.
Jalal featured in 14 games by netting 4 times and assisting 1 for Molde FK in the 2025-26 Eliteserien season during his loan stint.
He is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana senior national team, the Black Satrs at the international level.
