The promising teenager, who is on the radar of Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, has penned a fresh term with the Austrian elite division outfit, with his new deal set to take him through to 2027
Ghanaian teenager Daniel Nunoo has signed a contract extension with Austrian Bundesliga club SK Rapid Wien, the club have announced.

The promising winger, who joined up with the Allianz Stadion outfit from Ghanaian-based lowly division side Shooting Stars FC in the summer of 2024, has been fantastic with the Vienna-based club since being drafted into the mainstream squad this term having already left his mark with the Rapid Wien ll.
An excerpt of a statement confirming the 19-year-old contract extension read: ''The option to extend the contract was exercised: In early September 2024, the then 18-year-old Daniel Nunoo joined SK Rapid from Shooting Stars FC in his native Ghana. The lightning-fast attacking player has since made 25 appearances for the reserve team in the ADMIRAL 2nd League, scoring three goals and providing several assists.''

Sporting director Markus Katzer has said to his club's official website: ''We are exercising the option agreed upon two years ago to extend his contract for another season. Daniel Nunoo has integrated perfectly with us and has already proven on the pitch that he can be the reinforcement we were hoping for. Our coaching team, led by Johannes Hoff Thorup, is also convinced of his qualities, and I can well imagine that we can find a solution with Daniel and his management for an even longer-term collaboration.''
With his talent attracting attention from the European heavyweights, the Ghana FA technical bench will now be closely monitoring his progress from afar for his future integration into the Ghana national football team.
