Premier League side AFC Bournemouth have set sights on Ghanaian international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku should Antoine Semenyo leave the club in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The red-hot versatile attacker has been long linked with series of clubs but serged on to extend his stay with the Cherries last summer and is still on the radar of all the top clubs in England.

The 25-year-old ultimately has chosen Manchester City as his ideal destination next with talks ongoing to finalize the move in the coming weeks.

However, DailyMail Sports are reporting that Andoni Iraola has been monitoring another Ghanaian in Abdul Fatawu Issahaku for sometime now and sees him as a potential and perfect successor for Semenyo.

He is seen as a player with similar qualities as he is able to offer effective attacking options and could race back anytime to help in defence as well. He is ambipedal, versatile and very strong as well and will be a perfect fit at the Vitality Stadium.

Fatawu has been in an explosive form this campaign with another assist last night against Ipswich Town, totalling his numbers to 4 goals and 7 assists in 21 Championship games this season for Leicester City.
